NDT inspector level II/III (MPI/FPI)

As an NDT Specialist, you will be responsible for performing and evaluating non-destructive inspections on aircraft components. Depending on your certification level, you will work independently or take a leading role in developing, improving, and maintaining NDT procedures and processes.

As an NDT Specialist, you will be responsible for performing and evaluating non-destructive inspections on aircraft components. Depending on your certification level, you will work independently or take a leading role in developing, improving, and maintaining NDT procedures and processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform non-destructive inspections on aircraft components using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI/MT) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI/PT).
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results to accurately identify defects, discontinuities, and material imperfections in a timely manner.
  • Work in accordance with applicable aerospace standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, testing procedures, and equipment calibration records.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the highest standards of product quality.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of NDT inspection processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • (Level III) Develop, review, approve, and authorize NDT procedures, work instructions, and inspection techniques in accordance with applicable aerospace standards.
  • (Level III) Provide technical guidance and support to Level II inspectors, ensuring compliance with NDT procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • (Level III) Serve as the technical authority and primary point of contact for NDT-related technical matters and inspection requirements.
  • (Level III) Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards, certification requirements, and quality management systems.
  • (Level III) Support internal and external audits, personnel qualifications, and continuous process improvement initiatives to maintain the highest quality and compliance standards.

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and precision. In addition, you possess:

  • A valid Level II or Level III NDT certification in MPI (MT) and/or FPI (PT) in accordance with applicable aerospace standards.
  • Proven experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) within the aerospace industry or a similarly high-tech engineering environment.
  • A completed technical vocational (MBO Level 4) or Bachelor's degree (HBO) in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • A high level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • For Level II candidates, the ambition to progress towards Level III certification is considered a strong advantage. Level III als een grote pré wordt gezien.

Preferred

  • Level III certified
  • Experience in the field of MRO or CMRO (Aerospace)
